Chatwoot is an excellent open-source platform. Hadir Chat is built on the same open-source foundation and adds what a Gulf business needs to be working on day one.

Self-hosting

Running Chatwoot yourself means a server, a database, backups, upgrades, certificates and monitoring. That is ongoing engineering work, not a one-off setup. Hadir Chat is a managed service: operation, updates and backups are our responsibility.

Official WhatsApp

Connecting WhatsApp through Meta's official API needs business verification, template management and number quality. In Hadir Chat that is a guided path from the dashboard, in Arabic, with no unofficial bridges.

Arabic

Arabic translation in open platforms relies on volunteers and varies in quality. Hadir Chat reviews every screen in Arabic before release: the interface, email, the help centre and tax invoices.

Salla, Zid and billing

Salla and Zid integration, tax invoices in riyals, payment through Gulf gateways, and Hadir AI: a layer that does not exist in the open platform and would have to be built and maintained.

When self-hosting is the better choice

If you have an engineering team with the time to run and maintain the platform, and Arabic and WhatsApp are secondary, self-hosting is a legitimate choice. Hadir Chat is for the business that wants the result without the operations.
