Where your data lives
You choose the country your customers' data is held in, and it stays there. Not as a written policy — as where the servers physically are.
Saudi Arabia: PDPL
Enforceable since 14 September 2024, it requires personal data of residents to stay in the Kingdom by default, with fines reaching SAR 5 million. Saudi workspaces are created in Riyadh, with disaster recovery in Jeddah — both inside the Kingdom.
UAE: Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021
The United Arab Emirates has its own data protection regime, alongside the separate DIFC and ADGM rules. UAE workspaces are created inside the UAE, not in Saudi Arabia.
We do not move your data between countries
The region is fixed when the workspace is created. We do not relocate it later for operational convenience, even when that would be cheaper for us.
Ask your current provider
Most local competitors run in Frankfurt or Amsterdam. Ask exactly where your data is held, and ask for the answer in writing.
Data processing agreement
We sign a DPA in Arabic. Request it from privacy@hadir.chat.

If none of the regions above fits, a workspace can be created without a residency commitment. We will tell you where it runs, but we make no in-country guarantee for it — and you should not accept one in writing from anybody who will not name the country.
