Connect a WhatsApp number through Meta's official API
What you need first, and why we do not use unofficial bridges.
Connection is through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API directly. We use no unofficial bridge, and that is a decision we will not reverse: numbers connected that way get banned, and when one is banned you lose the number and its conversation history together.
What you need
- A verified Meta Business account.
- A number not currently registered on the consumer WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Business.
- A display name that matches your business.
If the number is already in use
Delete the WhatsApp account attached to it from inside the app, wait a few minutes, and try again — or use a different number. A dedicated support line is usually the easier answer.
